MaxxForce fault code SPN 1570 FMI 1 is commonly associated with fuel rail pressure being below the expected range on engines using high-pressure fuel control. Low fuel pressure can quickly cause loss of power, hard starting, misfire, shutdown, or derate. The ECM may reduce engine output to protect the fuel system or prevent poor combustion. This code should be diagnosed with live commanded versus actual fuel pressure data.
Likely Causes
Restricted fuel filters, weak fuel supply pump, air in fuel, suction restriction, contaminated fuel, pressure control valve issue, high-pressure pump wear, injector return leakage, or fuel pressure sensor problem.

Check fuel filters and fuel quality, verify low-side supply pressure, compare commanded versus actual rail pressure, inspect for air in fuel, and test return flow or pressure control components as required.
